Bathe is Queenstown’s modern take on the age-old onsen tradition.
Tucked into Brecon Street, it’s a natural pause in the city’s rhythm, designed to slow your breath, soothe your body, and bring you back to yourself.
Architecturally crafted to reflect the landscape, our NZ-made hot pools invite you to unwind your way. Our pools are open from 9:00am until 11:00pm. Last arrival is at 10:00pm.

THE COMMUNAL POOL
A vibrant social soak, set directly on Brecon Street. Start with a cold deluge under the monsoon-style shower, then sink into warm, magnesium-rich water while the city moves around you. With our best Remarkables view on site and minimal separation from the street, this pool is designed for shared moments, recovery, connection, and the kind of effortless social energy Queenstown does best.
PRIVATE POOLS
Our private pools offer a more intimate soak, each designed for a slightly different kind of stillness: all filled with warm, magnesium-rich water to support recovery and deep rest. Choose Canopy for a fully enclosed, cocooned escape beneath the sky. Try Botanical, surrounded by native planting and soft light. Or opt for Mountain View, a semi-enclosed pool that opens toward Skyline, Ben Lomond and Coronet Peak. Each experience is complemented by our monsoon-style showers for a cold deluge reset between soaks.

First Light

WHAT TO EXPECT
First time at Bathe? We’re glad you’re here.
Tucked at the base of the mountains and just moments from central Queenstown, Bathe is a design-led hot pool experience shaped by its surroundings. Architecturally crafted by local studio Hyndman Taylor, the pools blend raw concrete, wood, natural textures, and gentle landscaping to echo the beauty of the landscape itself.
Each pool is set to the perfect temperature inviting guests to slow down, bathe, and let the day melt away.

Just bring your swimwear and a water bottle, hydration is key while you soak (we have refill stations onsite).
We’ll provide a fresh towel, and everything else has been thoughtfully taken care of so you can simply show up and relax.Bathe is an alcohol-free space, complimentary Aspiring water or naturally flavoured sparkling is available for all guest, if you prefer something a little different: there are other options to purchase in reception.

There are several paid parking options nearby. We recommend the Skyline Multi-Storey Carpark (53 Brecon Street) at the top of Brecon Street. It's covered, convenient, and just a short stroll from our entrance.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your soak. This gives us time to check you in, walk you through the essentials, and get you comfortably settled so you can enjoy every moment of your soak, stress-free.

Private Pools
Each private pool comes with its own changing room and shower, so you can settle in with ease. You’ll also receive the use of a Bathe tote for your belongings, just hang it on the covered hooks provided and enjoy your soak, fuss-free.Communal Pool
Our communal pool has one changing area, so we kindly ask you to keep it quick this helps everyone get ready with ease.
Poolside cubbies are available for storage of your belongings while you soak. -
Please shower before your soak - it helps us keep the pools fresh and inviting for everyone.
Once you're in, relax and enjoy. We’ll gently let you know via intercom when it’s time to wrap up and begin changing.

Before you leave, make sure you’ve gathered all your belongings. Drop your used towel in the towel bin and return your tote and pool access key to reception.
Then, float back into your day refreshed, restored, and ready for whatever’s next.

Tucked just above Queenstown’s town centre, Bathe sits a short walk from some of the area’s most iconic stops. We’re around four minutes uphill from Fergburger - the perfect pause after a post-burger wander, and just two minutes from Skyline Queenstown, making us an easy wind-down after the gondola, luge, or a day on the bike. Quietly positioned at the base of Bob’s Peak, Bathe is close to everything, yet once you’re in feels a worlds away.
